About Breckenridge Film Festival
Our festival is community based and community first. We have volunteer reviewers from our community who are the first to watch and review submitted films. After being viewed by three reviewers, films with an overall rating of 3.5 or higher are viewed by our volunteer selections committee. This committee is hand selected by the Programming Director and Festival Programmer and includes people with film, festival, and other artistic experience. Each committee member is in charge of one festival category (Drama/Short Drama, Comedy/Short Comedy, Adventure, etc). Each committee member selects the top films in their category and the Programming Director and Festival Programmer have final approval/decision.
